Welcome to Charlotte and her horse Ben. They moved here from Wisconsin and Tara is going to be using Ben in the lesson program.
December 2009
Summer and Tara took Grayson and Anabella to the Fox Lea show. It was Summer's first show with Grayson and they showed in the Children's Hunter and came home with nice ribbons in every class. Anabella was first in the two Pre Green classes she did and felt very confident.
November 2009
Nov. 15th Congrats to Peter and Step, Kiya and Phoenix, and Shelby and Star for a very successful show at Cheval. Peter took home a handful of blue ribbons and two Champions in the Low Hunter divisions. Kiya and Shelby competed together in the short-stirrup both taking a Reserve and a Grand Champion with many firsts and seconds. This was Shelby and Star's first time in the short-stirrup. Great job to everyone!
Welcome to Kim Davis and Grayson. They both moved here from Connecticut and show in the hunters and jumpers.

Congrats to Mindy on the full lease of FEI Dressage horse Italik.
Welcome to Czechmate (Aron) a beautiful Stallion that Tara will riding and training. More information on Aron can be seen on the sale page.
Tarawin also welcomes Dutch, a 7 yr. old TB, he is the new school horse and has shown in the hunters up to 3'.

September - Congratulations to Jesse Cartwright of Plant City, FL on the purchase of Royal.
August 2009
August 30- Shelby with Star and Kya with Pheonix went to the Fox Lea show for one day. It was Star's very first show and Shelby won all 3 jumping classes and placed 2nd in the flat class for the crossrail division. They were both superstars, coming home with a Champion ribbon! Kya showed in the Short Stirrup division with Pheonix and also had some great placings. They were 3rd in the under saddle and 5th and 8th in the over fences classes. Way to go Kya and Shelby!

August 23 - This past weekend was the SDCTA Dressage Show in Tampa. Rocky and Tara showed 4th level for the first time together. On Saturday they scored a 61+% and Sunday a 62+% winning 1st place both days. They where also Reserve High Point for 4th level Saturday and Reserve Champion Sunday! Rocky and Tara received a qualifying score meaning they need just one more to make it to the Regional Championships in Wellington, FL this October.
Tarawin would like to welcome Summer Clarkson and her horse Duke. Duke will be arriving in September and they both will be joining the Tarawin Team.
June 2009
June 21- Emmy and Sebastian, Tara and Talando, and Stephanie and Killian all went to the Fox Lea Schooling show. Emmy and Sebastian moved up to the Children's pony division and won several blues both days . They were show Champion on Saturday and Reserve Champion on Sunday. This was Stephanie's very first horse show ever and she also took home several ribbons and Reserve Champion in the walk/trot classes both days. Tara showed Talando in the 3'6" Jumpers and placed 2nd both days making Talando show Champion for his division. Congrats to all!
June 7- Tara took Anabella and Talando to Tampa for a PCHA show. Anabella placed 1st in both over fences class in the Schooling Hunter division on Sat. and took a 4th on Sun. Talando also placed 1st on Sun. in the 3'6" Open Jumpers. What a great weekend!
June 15 - Tara went to Tampa for a Dressage show with Rocky. On Sat. they showed at 3rd. level test 3 and took 1st with a 66%. On Sun. they did the same test and took 1st again with a 67%. Tara was so pleased with Rocky since its the second time she has shown him and they moved up a level.

Killian and Stephanie. Killian is in partial training with Tara.
Talando and Jane. Talando is in full training with Tara and is
for sale. Big horse with a big movement, and is a great jumper! Tara
is looking forward to showing him soon.
Tarawin now has an official Pony Club named Manasota Pony Club. We
are excited to get this club going and everyone is anxious to get to
some rallies and rating. For more info. on pony club go to
www.ponyclub.org

on her full lease of Sebastian. Look for both of them in the show rings this year.
